DECADES IN THE MAKING
Russell Sundberg started writing songs before he could drive. Raised on the North Shore of Massachusetts by a father who was a computer engineer and programmer throughout the Digital Revolution, he grew up at the intersection of technology and creativity without knowing it would define his musicianship decades later. He studied songwriting, composition, and synthesis at Berklee College of Music, then spent the next thirty years writing and producing over three dozen albums in his home studio — working across Country, Americana, blues rock, pop, indie rock and alt-rock, as well as ambient soundtrack oriented work.
None of it was made with a big budget.
All of it was made with intention.
Every song in the catalog is independently copyrighted and registered. Russell owns all masters and the published material has been distributed through CD Baby within the Merlin network for over two decades.

A NEW CHAPTER
In recent years, Russell lost the majority of his hearing and the partial use of his right arm. The guitar and keyboard he'd played his whole life went quiet. The performing stopped but the songs didn't. Using modern production tools and decades of studio experience with Ableton, Cakewalk, ProTools, an extensive VST library and a profusion of music engineering equipment and applications, he began rebuilding his entire catalog — producing polished, genre-specific arrangements with both male and female vocal versions across every style he writes in. And now that Ai can be used as an enhancement tool to deliver radio ready quality productions, something that was always outside the budget. The high end studios and hired guns were now within grasp via carefully sculpted prompts and powerful platforms that use original recordings as reference. The result is a catalog that finally sounds the way it was always meant to. Songs that were written on a shoestring are now presented at the level the writing always deserved.
